Jack - May 2006 : Jack is growing & changing every day, he's becoming a real little boy. You'll see him wearing a bib in most pictures now as he is a droolmeister. At 3 1/2 months old Jack weighed 7140g (15lbs 11oz). He's 4 months old now & can roll over both ways (which he seems to spend most of the night doing!) & has been swimming a few times. He has his first cold at the moment, but he's being a real trooper about it.

Jack - April 2006 : The weather is crazy, more snow amongst the lovely spring days! Jack had his 1st jabs at 10 weeks and was 6 1/2 kgs (14lbs, 3oz). We made a quick day-trip to Chamonix to see Auntie Kate & Auntie Paula, had a nice long Easter weekend at home & a few nice days out at the rugby club. Jack has developed an unfortunate baby mullet where his baby hair is falling out, so far his eyes are still blue.

Jack - March 2006 : March began with snow here & finished feeling like springtime. We went for a long weekend in Chamonix where Mike & I both got to ski and Jack got to meet lots of his aunts & uncles and other friends too. Grammy & PawPaw visited also. At 2 months Jack was 6140g (13lbs 8oz) and 60cm (24").

Jack - February 2006 : Jack & Sarah came home on February 1st after 8 days in hospital. Mike took 2 weeks off work and then Grandma, Grandpa & Auntie Kate all came to visit and Rhonda & Marcel agreed to be Jack's Godparents!

Jack - January 2006 : John Padraic McNamara was born on January 24th 2006 at 08:26 in the Frauenspital in Basel Switzerland. John is a family name for both the Copleys & the McNamaras, we call him Jack. He weighed in at 3950g (8 lbs, 11oz) and was 51cm (20") long. He & his Mum stayed in the hospital for 8 days, we had lots of visitors which was lovely. It was especially great to see Uncle Pat & Aunt Nancy who came all the way from the US. Jack - August 2006 : The weather has cooled off which is great, although it's a bit autumn-like for August! Jack has been mostly sleeping through the night since he was ~6 months, my hero!We're trying him on lots of different foods and he likes everything at the moment. He's 7 months old, at 6 1/2 months he was 8.5kgs (~18lbs 12oz).

Jack - June 2006 : Summer is finally here & we're enjoying spending lots of time in the fresh air. Jack's new hair is starting to grow & is much fairer than what he was born with; the mullet is no more! His eyes also seem to be changing colour, we're not sure what to, but we assume brown eventually; time will tell. Jack is 5 months old, just over 8kgs (~17lbs 12oz) & is 66cm (26") tall.

Jack - July 2006 : July has been hot, hot, hot which has largely meant little sleep for anyone, although Jack has slept through 3 of the last 4 nights, yay! Jack loves spending time in the garden & the paddling pool. He has his first two teeth which popped through with no fuss at all & are now the centre of his universe along with his feet.
